COR FR MORTAR is a gypsum-based fire-resistant mortar. This fire-resistant mortar is used to restore the fire resistance performance of rigid wall and floor constructions where multiple services penetrate – various types of cables and metal pipes. COR FR MORTAR is supplied dry and mixed with water in the required proportion before installation. When mixed, it is self-supporting in the wall orientation; in the floor orientation, a support – mineral wool board – is necessary. The mortar effectively fills the gaps around the service penetration, ensuring that the partition maintains its integrity and insulation up to EI240.
