COR CFR Fire-Resistant Ventilation Grilles
COR CFR GRILLE ventilation grilles are manufactured using intumescent material that expands when exposed to temperatures above 140°C .
In the event of a fire, intumescent inserts seal the ventilation openings, preventing the spread of flames and smoke to adjacent compartments.
The grilles allow for an airflow of up to 80% and can offer fire resistance of 60, 120, and 240 minutes , in accordance with the applicable technical documents.
Maximum Dimensions
• Simple round grille: up to Ø 400 mm ;
• Simple rectangular grille: up to 600 × 600 mm ;
• Option for non-standard sizes, subject to specification.
Application
COR CFR grilles are installed in ventilation openings in walls and floors.
During a fire, the expansion of the intumescent material completely fills the opening, preventing the passage of flames and smoke into adjacent rooms.
Rigid Walls
The rigid wall must have a minimum thickness of 150 mm and be constructed of concrete, aerated concrete, or masonry, with a minimum density of 600 kg/m³ .
Rigid Pavements
The rigid floor must have a minimum thickness of 150 mm and be constructed of concrete, cellular concrete, or masonry, with a minimum density of 1700 kg/m³ .
