COR FR COLLAR
The COR FR COLLAR is a fire-stopping collar designed to protect combustible pipe penetrations in fire-resistant walls and floors.
It consists of one or more layers of graphite-based intumescent material, with a nominal thickness of 2.0 mm , housed within a steel sheet structure coated with corrosion-resistant red paint.
The clamp features a locking mechanism that allows the ends to be securely fastened, keeping the product stable around the piping. It also includes mounting brackets for attachment to walls or floors, ensuring a quick, practical, and effective installation.
In the event of a fire, the intumescent material expands significantly, creating a barrier against the passage of fire, smoke, and hot gases. In this way, it helps maintain the integrity and insulation of the compartmentation up to EI 240 .
