Fireproof Plate COR FR BOARD A

The COR FR BOARD A consists of a mineral wool board with a density of 150 kg/m³ and a thickness of 60 mm , coated on one side with COR FR COAT A ablative mortar.

This system was developed for fire-resistant sealing of technical passageways and for the protection of expansion joints , allowing for a fire resistance class of up to EI 240 .

In a fire situation, under the influence of high temperatures, endothermic reactions occur in the product. The ablative coating absorbs some of the heat, significantly delaying the action of the fire on the building elements and contributing to the maintenance of fire-resistant compartmentation.

Applications

The COR FR BOARD A is used for:

• Fire protection for technical crossings with non-combustible pipes, individual or grouped, in floors and walls;
• Protection of expansion joints in floors, ceilings and walls;
• Fire protection for electrical cables, in combination with intumescent paint;
• Application in conjunction with COR FR COAT I on walls, whenever specified in the sealing system.
