COR FR COAT I/A Ablative fire-resistant coating
Description
COR FR COAT I/A Intumescent Paint
COR FR COAT I/A is a single-component intumescent coating designed for the fire sealing of service penetrations involving non-combustible pipes and electrical cables.
When exposed to high temperatures, the coating applied with this paint expands, forming a protective layer over the protected surface. This reaction helps to limit the spread of fire, preserve the integrity of penetrating elements, and ensure the system's fire resistance up to EI 240 , in accordance with the reference technical documents.
Application
COR FR COAT I/A is intended for the fire protection of:
• Non-combustible pipes in fire-separating floors and walls;
• Electrical cables and cable trays on walls;
• Sealing systems for technical penetrations, where applicable in accordance with the tested solution.
Flexible Walls
The flexible wall must have a minimum thickness of 125 mm and consist of a steel profile framework, clad on both sides with at least two layers of 12.5 mm thick boards .
Rigid Walls
The rigid wall must have a minimum thickness of 150 mm and be constructed of concrete, aerated concrete, or masonry, with a minimum density of 600 kg/m³ .
Rigid Pavements
The rigid floor must have a minimum thickness of 150 mm and be constructed of concrete, cellular concrete, or masonry, with a minimum density of 1700 kg/m³ .
