COR FR MASTIC Fire-Resistant Acrylic Mastic

COR FR MASTIC is an acrylic fire-stopping mastic designed to prevent the spread of fire, smoke, and gases through openings in fire-resistant walls and floors.

When exposed to fire, the mastic expands, sealing openings around pipes, cables, voids, and expansion joints. In this way, it creates an effective barrier against the spread of fire.

The compound efficiently fills the gaps around installations, contributing to the maintenance of the system's integrity and insulation, with fire resistance classes EI 120 and EI 240 , in accordance with the applicable compliance documents.

Application

COR FR MASTIC was developed to:

• Fire protection for non-combustible pipe penetrations in floors and walls;
• Fire protection for individual electrical cables or cable bundles in floors and walls;
• Fire-stopping of gaps, expansion joints, and intumescent ventilation grilles.

Application Conditions

After hardening, COR FR MASTIC can be used within a temperature range of -30 °C to +80 °C .
